My New Laptop Compaq CQ40
I’m quite happy that I got my notebook yesterday from my local hardware center in Lowyat. I have been longing for a second computer to use because it can aid me to increase my productivity by switching computers to operate different tasks and use it for college work.
I have a budget of RM 1600 to purchase a notebook but have no idea which one should I choose since its a dime a dozen in that computer center so I went along to look out for best specs with reasonable price within my range and finally I found one! Most of the time, when I visit a computer center I would careless go about the brand but would seriously look at the hardware.
Functionality > Brand
On another hand, if I have the money — without any question I would strict go into an Apple store to buy a Mac Book & a G5 back home.
.
Btw, the netbook on the left is not mine. I thought it would look good in a picture so I throw it in. After using the netbook I come to conclude that it is a junk and the price tag for one is expensive. If you are able to put up another RM 400 – Rm 500 you can get a more powerful notebook.
.
With this laptop in hand I’m able to use it in my workplace to finish off my work quickly (doing accounts~ I hate it!) The main reason I want to bring it is because I’m only able to use the old computer at the far end of the office and all others are occupied. If I’m not wrong the computer was brought in the 90′s. I can’t even multitask with it and if I did the whole thing would lag and a restart is required.
Accounting assistant isn’t my type of job that I would be happy about but I still need to endure it until the end of February so I can get that salary to spend on my workstation & clothing. At first I thought I can work until the intake date (May of 2010) for college. However, after the first week I have shorten that date to a month more until I leave that job for good!
If anyone got a better job to offer me I would gladly take into consideration but it must be something related to the internet, computer or business.
