After viewing some post in Japan.Tokyotimes.com I found a rather rare photo article by Ady about the Muslim world in Japan. After that, my curiosity spark to see what can i find out.

Been living in a Muslim country that I currently reside which is the notoriously famous Malaysia whereby its name have been terribly stain by its own government themselves who always take pride of their petty achievements across 53 years of independent. Not that I’m being derogative toward the country but it have really lost its gravitas long long time ago.

After some digging I found out that there are 30 – 40 single story Mosque while the first one to be build is the kobe Mosque back in 1935. There is a problem with the population part because different sources show different numbers but at times vary greatly for instance Wikipedia shows 183, 000 Muslim population as an estimate for 2009 while Factbook.net show a staggering number of 1,270,787 Muslim population in the country.

At the very first moment I quickly rule out that Japan have a Muslim population due to their major religion is Shintoism whereby everything have an entity of its own and that finally make me sense to me from a paragraph I read long ago “Some Japanese even bow to their ATM machine upon receiving their money.” Another fact I want to point out is most of the younger generation are agnostic and some even atheist and that including myself are one of them too.

Christian Church & Islam Mosque always have an admirable architectures to it. Don’t they?
