My SPM Result
Dreadful day? An emotional one? Happy? Nothing at all?
I’m not sure how to put it but I did not felt excited nor sad but as the usual me when I’m getting my SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) result slip on the counter with everyone pushing around. One thing I hate most is that people don’t line up properly in Malaysia as they’ll try to squish in or just slip in while it’s your turn, it will certainly remind you of playing rugby at school. After that, I’ll need to wait again on another counter to get my “school leaving certificate” & my testimonials. (Rugby again!! =.=)
Then, some of my friends come by and said we can apply LCCI together but I’m not sure about it. Wait! — Did you ever had a friend who always bullshit on you? and like to use assumption as facts? False facts as truth? Well, let me tell you that I have this one friend when asked about the form for LCCI he quickly tell me that I’m not eligible-based on what he assume just by a flash of that form the teacher was holding.
The situation
He keep pressing on telling me and the others that I must have at least “(LCCI) – 2″ not (LCCI) – 3 so then I can only apply “Level 2 Book- Keeping & Account”. I see there are no connection from the code “2″ and “level 2 Book- Keeping & Account” at all and simple logic dictates he was wrong. So, I just play dumb as I usually do when I don’t or do understand a thing and from experience if I keep persist he’ll give me pure bullshit again while I notice the teacher have no idea on what she was talking too. Poor me.. After a little digging on LCCI. I’m surprise of what I’ve found and laugh my arse off when I think of that specific conversation when he was explaining to me.
What I found

Who can apply for the LCCI Certificate?
If you obtain a Grade 6C or above in SPM Principles of Accounting you are eligible for the LCCI Level 2 Book-keeping and Accounts (Bahasa Malaysia) Certificate.
Additionally, if you score a Grade 6C or above for both SPM Principles of Accounting and English 1119 you are eligible for the LCCI Level 2 Book-keeping and Accounts Certificate.

Do I need to say more?

How to apply?
To those who want to apply you can directly ask your teacher for the form and do the following: -
1] A copy of your NRIC
2] A copy of your SPM result slip
3] Payment of RM 25 for administration fee
4] Submit everything within a month after your SPM result released date to your teacher
More info here!
How do I know I’m eligible?
It will be written clearly on the result slip itself and if you don’t that’s means you are not eligible for it. I know because my friend got a D in Account and his result slip does not mention LCCI.
Funny huh? With no pictures shown of the day I received my once in a life time SPM result slip because my current camera just can’t endure the dim light that was present in the hall of my school. Without enough light through the lens of my Sony Cybershot T10 it will produce noisy picture. Hence, the possible output would be a “salient” quality of images. Not even a higher ISO would safe it from the catastrophe. Lumix LX 3 here I come!!
