With all the buzz about the movie, I unconsciously fall for another cheesy movie that Warner Bros think that it’s another blockbuster. Well, the movie better bust some block because  it does not look too good but the action part was great just not the CG.

The whole storyline was frank & straightforward to a fact that I was bored with it because the movie does not seem to have the elements of surprise that I like to crave for or mysterious that unfold itself as it reach tip of the ice berg. The action scenes were fun with just a few scenes plus it also contain those funny awkward moments within the film. A side from the action there are not much character development being done.

With all the hype about 3D usage for film it is not hard to see that “Clash of the Titans” jumps on the bandwagon itself to quickly convert their movie into a 3D version to cash in. At best Hollywood try to produce a weird 3D  film, at worse it practically failed. According to some expert films that will be converted in to 3D would increase in the near future. Peter Sciretta have a say about it.

I will be completely honest — it did not look great. It looked passable. General audiences might not notice the difference, but they will feel it. To me, the live-action post-converted 3D footage looked very unnatural. At times the characters appeared to stand out like cardboard cutouts, while other times they appeared to be graphed to a computer generated 3D model, and it just looked odd. The computer animated elements look a bit better, but as a whole it was a subpar experience.

Will Hollywood start to sink their own boat with these 2D to 3D conversion films in the future?
