Top 5 Recommended Anime This Spring 2010

Spring is here and a new season of anime will be flooding your watch list again! In order to help you steer clear of those anime that does not worth the time I’m here to select it out for you. Just to let you know I don’t watch sport anime. So, you won’t see any in my listing. Usually, I’ll pick those with mecha, action, adventure, sci-fi, comedy & slice of life theme.

1] Heroman

Heroman is one of those rare gems that I saw contain the best of both worlds due to the story is set by Stan Lee & animation by BONES studio. It’s strange that somehow we are attracted to mecha & action to a certain extend we adore it. Famous example would be Gundam, Gurren Lagann, Macross Frontier, Evangelion & my favorite Ghost in the shell. If I may say, it is an anime that contain the most potential of all other titles of this season.

2]B Gata H Kei

Having an inspiration to attain 100 fuck buddies in high school anyone? Well, the main character Yamada (Yes, it’s weird for a girl who have a boy name instead of a girl) suddenly start pursuing this young boy who is also a virgin himself to become her first target but ultimately fall for him. In my opinion, it’s worth the time to laugh off this couple on the road to find what love & sex is all about.

3] Working!!

Got to love the small senpai! So Chibi!! Sorry about that. Seeing how this guy that got nothing to do with this weird family run restaurant to become a part-timer in it is really fun to laugh at how these eccentric staff treat him.

4] Mayoi Neko Overun!

The character design of Fumino have a slight resemble to Taiga Aisaka from Toradora herself. Episode 1 was interesting with mysterious cat ears phantom going around town @_@ Need to watch episode 2 to get more information on it.

Is there any chance of Nyan Koi Season 2?

5] Senko no Night Raid

From the first episode it give me a combine view of elements from different anime such as Baccacno, Canaan & Black Lagoon. I giggled a lot when the Japanese try their best to speak Mandarin but those Chinese can speak their language fluently. Do they actually hired a real Chinese to voice mandarin over those Chinese character?

I am quite interested in what’s going to happen next due to those main characters have supernatural power. From what I know there is a teleporter, deflector, eagle eye & a reader so far.

There is another list that I’ll be writing in the next few days on optional anime titles to watch this spring 2010. I guess some of you guys actually know what are these optional titles I’m talking about.
