13 June 2010 View Comments

The Japanese Foundation is organizing a film festival in Malaysia like it did every year with 6 movies in totals for show in Klang Valley & Penang exclusively for those who live a stone’s throw away. 5 of which are life action film while only 1 is animated for a short 5 days in the GSC cinema. I never knew they organized such event here until I read the newspaper while riding on the train a few days back.

Here’s a list of films

  1. Dear Doctor
  2. Dog in a Sidecar
  3. Feel the Wind
  4. NORIBEN ~the Recipe of Fortune~
  5. One Million Yen Girl
  6. THE SUMMIT: A Chronicle of Stones
  7. YAMAZAKURA – The Cherry Tree in the Hills
  8. 5 Centimeters per Second

If you need help finding more information on the titles try IMDB or Google sensei. Trust me! They are your best friend in the online world.

I’ll probably watch NORIBEN and ignore all the others while 5 centimeter per second is a personal favorite that I have already watched. I recommend 5 centimeter per second to those couple out there having problems with their relationship. It might help you get back on track with that special girl you sought after. In short, the story is really touching with great animation combined.
