Bon Odori 2010 Malaysia

The Bon Odori is here again in 2010 in fact it will be celebrated every year in Malaysia. Although, we are not Japanese we do love their cultures & practices. Bring on those yukata chic right now!!

For those who don’t have the slightest hints of what I’m talking about please visit wikipedia for a details description on the subject. It was hosted in Shah Alam last year and it will be the same for this year as well. The celebration was..  ’fun’ — I guess. Not really a lively place as far as I’m concern. Certainly! I know it is a festival to celebrate the dead but it is way different if its organized in Malaysia as we does not bear the same meaning as they have. In a nutshell,  I been there, I saw, I enjoyed, I got fed up.

And no, I won’t be attending it this year since I got an unsurmountable of tests on next week. It seem like college life is getting more exciting but the traveling time to and fro from my home is taking a toll on me. Lastly, it’s cool to hang out with friends in the Bon Odori festival but I won’t bet my life on how fun it will be. As a note, please don’t cosplay there nor wear any unsuited clothings because people will boo at you. Trust me on this.
