It was a wonderful thrill ride intellectuality designed by Christopher Nolan who is the director and writer of this jaw dropping movie “Inception”. This is definitely different from your usual sci-fi film you watch as it comes with a complicated labyrinth of storyline that extend itself from dreams into dreams. This movie should win an Oscar! God Damn it!

I was ecstatic when the 2nd trailer first rolling out into youtube and vividly remembered what Leonardo DiCaprio plays Cobb have said from the very beginning

“What’s the most resilient parasite? It’s an Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules. Which is why I have to steal it!

You know what? It make me realize how ideas can be a powerful tool to create the impossible, the unthinkable or simply beyond our wildest imagination. For instance, a hundred years ago people who thought of flying are considered crazy but the wright brothers beg to differ and go on with their idea of roaming the skies.

Let me tell you something, Inception is not a simple movie. The movie requires each audience member to think throughout the entire movie. This is a movie that one unclear moment could affect the understanding of the entire movie. However, you will not be disappointed and even grow an urge to re-watch it again.

As the story progresses, dreams upon dreams start to unfold before your eyes as they dive in into each level of the brain itself to implant an idea into Robert Fischer, Jr. mind to sell the company because it have quickly becoming a threat to Mr. Saito business. This is why the movie is call ‘inception’ and not ‘extraction’ since Cobb work as a professional extractor and inceptor at the same time.

The special effect was stunningly beautiful and believable altogether. Although, Christopher Nolan try to make it as real as possible without the aid from computer generated image as he want to capture the reality of the characters rather than letting the visual effects do all the talking. It was well thought out and the scores use in really make it a fantastic movie!

Moreover, it does beg the age old question of “Am I living in a dream world or the real reality”? As quoted by cobb “Even in a dream world you’ll feel that it’s real but it’s not”. No one really knows as they are plenty of theories and speculation even on our own reality itself. This whole thing as we call “reality” might be just a big computer simulation as in the game “The Sims” I bet a lots of folks have played it before hand and how things work in the sims universe.

Honestly, I’m a bad dreamer because I can’t remember what I had dream about when I’m sound asleep. Anyhow, I give it a 10/10 rating because everything is great from the story to the effects and the actors until the very end of this movie is totally worth your money to watch it compare to The Last Airbender this summer.
