8 Most Anticipated Game Titles In 2011
The list is finally here! I kid you not. I have finally finished on getting all the top 8 games that fans have being awaiting for their release in this year. I firmly believe that each one of them have a large potential to become the top No. 1 title but how it will go down will depend on the gamers side itself.
1. Dead Space 2
When the announcement have been made I jump up with joy that this particular mashed up future-like survival horror title gets a sequel to its predecessor Dead Space. So, are you up for a game to kill some alien creepy crawly?
2. Mass Effect 3
Mass Effect is a personal favorite and confident it will be the most anticipated game’s in 2011 with more and more details being released later this year. The conclusion of the game will varies because it will be import decisions made by the player from previous titles of the game into the third installment. It is said that it will be pulling over 1,000 variables from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 to shape how players experience the final chapter. The game will again be release in multiple platforms. This will be the last fight that Commander Shepard will forgo and the ending is creeping nearer and nearer every passing month until this Christmas.
However, there is a problem that still keep me thinking. Those who play the first and second titles on PC and want to play the third installment on their 360s. How can the player import them? Or even it were mixed of other platforms other than the PC. Start a new?
3. Gears of War 3
Xbox 360 fans will scream like no tomorrow as the final chapter of Gears of War 3 have been set to be release this holidays. The sad fact is the postponement, done solely by our greedy Microsoft which originally was set for release this April. As we all know, if a big title is close to a holiday date it’ll sell better than hot cakes but an excuse for Christmas presents.
Watch out! You will eventually blow their allowance until there are no more. So, start saving up today! They better make all the necessary tweaks and improvements since they push the release.
4. Deus Ex Human Revolution
You must agree that the trailer (below) is awesome but I have an eerie feeling that the gameplay might be a little bit slow, judging from some gameplay videos on Youtube thats is. It’s another title that I did not play through their first and second titles way back in 2000s. I’m hoping it will be this good like the trailer have shown us.
5. Portal 2
Once created as a side project for the Orange Box have become a critically acclaim game in 2007. That not only spawn a lots of similar version of it in flash base game but got itself an internet meme too. I think the cake is not a lie now. Aren’t we?
6. Brink
I think the game will soon revolutionize future FPS with its free of movement controlled by the player with parkour style of going around in the game environment.
7. Killzone 3
KillZone 3 is one of those exclusive game this year for the PS3 that have been set to be released by the end of February. It is also the fourth installment to the long series of KillZone game. Well, if you count the spin-off. Judging from E3 it have a lots of improvement from the previous games and they even implemented Gears of War like hit-and-cover type of system to intensify the overall gaming experience.
8. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
This exclusive PS3 title is back again, now with Drake being lost in the middle of a burning desert of Rub’ al Khali. Desperately, in search of the legendary lost city, the Iram of the Pillars. Hang tight! It’s coming out soon. Despite what I heard about it and how great it was I haven’t played the game yet. I think it’s time to have a visit to my friend house to play the previous 2 titles.
