Surprise! Now you can do it with a help from Neurowear, a new Japanese startup for selling these Cat Ear headband. To my amazement, it’s not a complicated piece of technology at all. What it does is to capture your brainwave and translate them into a motion depending how much juice you are giving it.
If you concentrate or intentionally make yourself focus enough the ears will immediately rise up and relax when you loosen up a bit. Nothing too hard but with a little practice you can easily master it according to the video.
As you can see the two videos above as they contrast each other quite differently. Taking a closer look in the video will reveal the chunky but still compact input device in front of the head piece to capture your brainwaves and battery packs on the sides. A rather inelegance approach but in time I hope that it will be improve much more further.
Fast forward to the future…. I think cosplayer will definitely use this head piece to add a little bit of a personal touch to their overall cosplay or we can see a rise of cat womens roaming around malls and any popular hang out places.
Since they have successfully created a movable cat ear. Why not push the idea a bit further says a cat tail’s? I bet a lots of young couple would love to own them. As we know it foul-play will never be the same again.
The device will be coming out at the end of this year. The pricing and color to choose from are still undecided yet.
