Happy 2012 Chinese New Year!

I’m here to wish you guys a happy C.N.Y.!
Although I’m a Malaysian of ethnic Chinese, I’m rarely excite about its festive season like stocking up new year foods, visiting relatives, watching new year drama or hanging up Chinese decorations around the house. It’s Christmas but in Chinese version.
Present = Money
Christmas tree = Pussy willow
Christmas decoration = Red lanterns + Ang Pau variant arts
Snow = Fireworks
I loathe those kind of things or you could say something that they are unnecessary. I guess, you would just get over it when the age is right which in this case since my teenage years. However, there’s one part that I like pretty much is getting Ang Pau. They’re red little packet that you get free money from relatives and friends.
If you live in Malaysia long enough you may have experienced the dry and hot humid environment each passing year when the CNY arrive. However, this year it’s totally different that steer to another direction altogether. The weather is surprisingly cold and windier compare to last year with more rainfall. :Fuck yeah guy:
Woohoo! I’m gonna be a hundred-aire soon
